XING Mobility, a Taiwanese pioneer in immersion cooling battery technologies, has launched IMMERSIO™ Matrix, a marine battery system that addresses the key challenges of power, space, and safety in vessel electrification.
European shipowners face pressure from regulations to adopt battery-electric propulsion. IMMERSIO™ Matrix offers continuous 3C power, twice the energy density of conventional batteries, and immersion cooling for enhanced fire safety.
The system, developed in partnership with Nordic Booster AS, is already powering vessels in real-world tests. It will debut at the Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo in Amsterdam, setting a new standard for marine batteries.
